The Palisades Golf Course was established in 1953
For the past 13 years, PGC has been owned and operated by Rob and Carol Canier. The Caniers have transformed
the course into a prestige playing ground with opportunities for seasonal, weekend and partial season memberships.
Originally an apple orchard, the Canier family, including their three children works all aspects of the course from ground maintenance to club house operations.
While PGC is not the longest course in the tri-state area, we offer challenges and peaceful surrounding not found on other courses. Throughout the season, PGC offers a plethora of tournaments and outings for the entire family to enjoy.
If you are looking for a great way to spend a Saturday with your buddies or kick off a bachelor party, remember Palisades Golf Course! We are happy to accommodate any size group and make it a truly unique experience.
One of the annual events held at PCG is the 7-iron and putter tournament, that's right, golfers can only use their 7-iron and putter. Held on the last weekend of July, this fun filled event includes hole prizes, men's and women's money prizes, free food and a great time. Individual play makes this a "show your skills" event! After the tournament, PGC hosts "Robaplooza", which includes more food and fun and our house band, The New Island City Surprise! The Al Cini Memorial Tournament is another annual event held in September to raise support for the West Carroll Thunder Sports Boosters. This great event is a 18 hole best ball with hole prizes, great food and is a wonderful way to support the area schools!
Night golf is always a hit! Typically held in October, this event is 9 holes with glow balls. Golfers bring their three favorite clubs and play individually. If you would like to make night golf your next fundraiser or family outing, contact the clubhouse for more information!
